Arue D. Medley, a life-long Beacon resident, passed away on January 17, 2022 at his home in Beacon, at the age of 47-years old. He was born in Cold Spring, NY on October 9, 1974, son of Ella L. Oates Medley and the late Warren M. Medley. Arue graduate from Beacon High School, class of 1993.
Arue worked in private security, he ran his own personal security which he called, Arue’s Bodyguard Service.
Arue enjoyed cooking. He was a fan of wrestling, boxing, and football which he was a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan. Mostly he loved the time spent with his family & his friends.
Along with his mother, the Rev/Dr. Ella L. Medley, Arue is survived by his brother Terrance L. Medley, and his two nieces Jána and Jada Medley; his maternal grandmother Hazel Rountree. He is also survived by five aunts and one uncle: Rose Simmons, Beverly Faison, Ballery (Leon) Simons, Renee Dolphin, Monica Sylvester, Glenwood Faison; and a host of cousins & friends.
Along with his father Warren M. Medley, Arue is also predeceased by his maternal grandfather Rev. Melvin Rountree and his paternal grandmother Mary Faison.
