Mr. Arthur R. Winkles, 94, of Sharpsburg, passed away Friday, December 5, 2014 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. He was born January 11, 1920 in Floyd County, GA to the late Riley Van Richard Winkles and Susie Ann Reynolds Winkles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Frances Thompson Winkles and daughter, Blanch Corley. Survivors include sons, Glen Winkles and David (Connie) Winkles; daughter, Vivian Moffett; 17 grandchildren;20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
