Arthur Leroy Smith, 83, of Warder Ave., passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013, at Grafton City Hospital. He was born February 4, 1930, in Meigs County, Pomeroy, Ohio, a son of the late Alvin Smith and Agnes (Potts) Smith Bess. His wife of 48 years, Mary Ruth (Duvall) Kinnerson Smith survives. Mr. Smith was a truck driver having been formerly employed by Mid State Trucking. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church where he taught adult Sunday school classes. He enjoyed fishing, and was Nascar and football fan. In addition to his wife he is survived by: three children, Sandra Kay Nasuta and husband Rick, Carol Fouts and husband Jim, all of Massillon, OH, Timothy Ray Smith, of Canton, OH; one step son, James Michael Kinnerson and wife Ann, of Canton, OH; grandchildren, Chris Kinnerson, of Grafton, Tabitha Robinson and husband Rob, of Kansas, Bill Kinnerson and wife Sarah, of South Dakota, Tina Nasuta, Keirston McGuire, Shay Lyn Constable and husband Harley, of Massillon, OH, Spencer Smith and Skyler Smith, of Canton, OH, Lisa McClain and husband Adam, of Barberton, OH, Melissa Diekmann and husband Mark, of Canton, OH, and Stephanie Meza and husband Gil, of Arizona; great grandchildren, triplets, Krista, Allyson, and Matthew Diekmann, Mikayla Meza, and Chaska Kinnerson. He was preceded by: two brothers, Charles “Chuck” Smith and Robert Smith; and one sister in law, Eunice (Chisholm) Smith.
