PLEASANT VALLEY –<br><br>GAGNON – Arthur Joseph Gagnon, Jr., 82, of Fuller Road, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2007 at his home surrounded by his family after a long illness. He was the loving husband of Alice J. Gagnon of Pleasant Valley and the late Adele (GoKey) Gagnon who passed away in 1997. Born in December 20, 1924 in Winsted, CT; the son of the late Arthur Sr. and Elizabeth (McCool) Gagnon. He served in U.S. Army during World War II. He was employed by Pioneer Ball for approx. 30 years. He loved antique and model cars. In addition to his wife, Alice, he is survived by two sons, Arthur J. Gagnon III and his wife Gail of MA and James Gagnon and his wife Laurie of Winchester Center; three daughters, Diana Hampson and her husband Gary of FL, Patricia Smith and her husband Wayne of MA and Pamela Dupre of FL; 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchildren. He also leaves 7 step children, 19 step grandchildren and 8 step great-great grandchildren. Graveside services will be private and held in the spring.
