Arthur John Rieth passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on December 22, 2014, surrounded by his wife and children. Art was born Oct 13, 1921 in Woodward, OK, the son of John and Martha Rieth. Art spend his early years there, graduating from Woodward High School.
At the age of 18, he entered the US Navy, serving as a Photographer Mater Second Class during World War II in the Pacific Theater. Returning to civilian life he continued his photography by becoming a professional photographer for Crabtree Photo in Idaho Falls.
He met the love of his life, Mary Ellen Hahn, on a new adventure to Idaho with his brothers Don and Vernon who were following the grain harvest.
