Arthur J. Korch, II, 69, of Quakertown, died at his home on Sat., Feb. 11, 2017. Born in Abington Township, he was a son of the late Arthur J. and Florence L. (Fehn) Korch. After high school, Arthur went on to graduate from Spring Garden Institute in Philadelphia. Arthur was a corvette buff, and loved going to car shows. He was a family man who enjoyed good times vacationing in Pine Beach, NJ and the family homes at Lake Naomi in the Poconos and Ft. Meyers, FL. When he was able, he liked to walk around Lake Towhee, which was right near his house; camp out at Black Powder; boat, and be near the water in general. Arthur had a special place in his heart for animals, especially his beloved Blue – a husky mix with one brown eye and one blue; and one of his favorite pastimes was bird watching. He always liked a good joke, and enjoyed reading newspaper comics, especially Peanuts. Surviving are two daughters: Marsha Laskowski, companion Jeff Collins, of Richlandtown and Carla J. Korch, companion Donna Sumner, of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren: Ryan Laskowski, Michael Laskowski and Samantha Korch; a sister, Virginia “Ginny” Ridgeway, husband Eliot, of Pipersville; nieces and nephews: Seth (Alena) and Justine (Scott); a great-nephew, Owen; a god-daughter, Tracey; and his cousin, an “honorary brother”, John Lawless. Arthur was preceded in death by a grandson, AJ; a brother, Joseph; and a nephew, Lance.
