Arthur C. Ep Roberts age 84 of Picayune Mississippi died Sunday July 12 2009 in Residence . Arthur Roberts was a Meterologist a member of THE Metairie High School Alumni Association a member of the Good ole Metairie Boys a member of The Washington Artillery Veterans Association and a member of The American Legion. A retired meteorologist died on Sunday July 12 2009 at his residence in Picayune MS. Ep was born June 19 1925 in New Orleans and lived there until he retired to Picayune in 1973. Ep was a graduate of Metairie High School and Tulane University. He served in the US Air Corp during WWII. He was of the Episcopal faith and very active in church functions at St. Paul?s Episcopal Church in Picayune. He was employed by WDSU-TV as a Meteorologist and by Nash C. Roberts Jr. Consultants Inc. until he retired in 1973. .The deceased is survived by: two daughters Cheryl Gail Greg Tryon of Oak Harbor WA Tracy Rene? Clay Mau of Jamestown SC one granddaughter Jessica Tryon 4 Great grandchildren four brothers Nash C. Roberts of Metairie LA Wallace James Roberts of CA Clifford Clay Roberts of LaPlace LA and Sidney Godson Roberts of Kenner LA. Also several nieces nephews and sisters in law. .The deceased is preceded in death by: his loving wife Phyllis Altman Roberts and two sons Robbie and Scott Roberts also his parents Winona and Nash C. Roberts Sr.. .
