Winsted: Arthur C. Brusie, 95, formerly of 260 Perch Rock Trail, died Tuesday, January 6, 2009, at Valerie Manor Convalescent Home, in Torrington. He was the husband of the late Kathleen (O’Heron) Brusie who died in 2007. Born in Torrington, August 26, 1913, he was the son of John and Annie Brusie and had lived in this area all of his life. Prior to his retirement, he had worked as a tool and die maker for Bantam Aerospace for over 30 years. His survivors include a son, Arthur J. Brusie and his wife Josephine of Torrington; two granddaughters, Phyllis Stearns and Ann O’Donnell and six great grandchildren, Emily, Robert, Kristen, Rachel, Timothy and Katie. He was predeceased by his daughter, Anne Shaw.
