Arthur E. Borchart Jr., 89, of Port St. Lucie, FL, passed away on November 26, 2019.

Arthur was born in Centralia, Washington to Arthur and Marcelene (Ada Robbins) Borchart on January 23, 1930. He served nearly 11 years as a pilot in the United States Air Force. During his service, Arthur served during the Korean War. Before joining the Air Force, he was a firefighter for the Mt. Woodson Forestry Department in California. In his younger years, he was a race car driver. Arthur moved from California to Port St. Lucie in 2005.

Arthur enjoyed hiking, hunting, and all outdoor activities. He loved flying airplanes and going to air shows. Most of all, Arthur loved his family and his dog Punkin.

Arthur is survived by his daughter Sherry Emery and her husband Charles, and his son Arthur Borchart; grandchildren Jessica Cusumano and her husband Joe, and Sara Newman; great-grandsons Joseph and Nicholas Cusumano; and his sister Eileen Parsley and her husband Bob.

Arthur was preceded in death by his daughters Bobbie Kay and Jody Borchart, and his sister Barbara Ericson.
