Arthur Barry Johnson, 77, of Oglesby, passed away, Monday, July 26, 2021 at St. Margaret’s Hospital, Spring Valley.
Mr. Johnson was born on August 5, 1943 in LaSalle to Robert and Virginia (Keen) Johnson. He married Ann Banich on April 19, 1969 in Oglesby. He served in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
Barry worked as a steel worker for 42 years. He enjoyed gardening, flowers, fishing and loved cooking. He is survived by his wife Ann of Oglesby; a son, Chris Johnson of Oglesby; a sister, Kathryn Stokvis of Peru and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bruce Johnson.
