Arpinig Hanisian, 98, of Newington, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2022, with her family by her side. She was born in New Britain, to the late Zakaria and Mary (Yevelian) Hanisian. She was a graduate of New Britain High School and Hillyer College in Hartford. She went on to work at the Newington Children’s Hospital and for the Hartford Courant. Arpinig also worked for the Travis Air Force Base in California as a management Technician. She was predeceased by three brothers, Andrew, Zoe and John, and a sister Armenouhi. She leaves many loving nieces and nephews as well as many friends. Her family would like to thank Nadija for her compassionate care which allowed her to stay in her home until her final days. She will be forever loved and remembered.
