Arnold Vernon Hale of Lewisville, Texas, formerly of Sheridan, was born Nov. 29, 1918, in Grant County, and died Dec. 07, 2008, at the Regency Long Term Acute Care facility in North Carrollton, Texas. He was 90-years-old.Arnold Hale was the son of Jasper Emery and Helen Madeline Perigan Hale. His wife, Sarah Lybrand Hale, predeceased him on March 5, 1999. Arnold worked as a maintenance worker at the Celanese Chemical Plant in Pampa, Texas, until he retired in 1982. He was also a World War II United States Army veteran. He was a member of Lakeland Baptist Church in Lewisville, Texas, and was formerly a member of North Main Baptist Church in Sheridan.
