Arnold was born on April 29, 1973, to Gregory and Geraldine (Thompson) Tolan in Sioux City, IA. He attended Spirit Lake High School and proudly earned his GED in 1991. He worked for many years for the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Spirit Lake. Arnold was united in marriage to Danette Leigh Schultz on April 1, 2000, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lakefield, MN. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping with Danette, his family, and friends.
