Arlow Boysen, 94, of Wiota, Iowa, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2007, at the Colonial Manor in Anita.
Arlow Boysen was born on June 8, 1912, on a farm in Audubon County, the son of Boy Nels and Marie (Gregersen) Boysen.
He grew up on a farm in Audubon County and attended country school through the 8th grade. Arlow farmed with his dad until he was married.
On March 8, 1939, he was married to Alice Lucile Skaug, at her parents home, on a farm near Atlantic, Iowa. To this union were three children, Arnold, Charolette and Terry Lynn. They lived on a farm east of his fathers. They lived there for three years. In 1943 they moved to a farm 2 miles south of Wiota. He and Lucile have lived at Colonial Manor since June of 2006.
Arlow was a longtime farmer with his brother until 1973. In 1973 his son, Arnold took over the farm ground.
