PITTSFIELD: Arline D. Failla, 80, of 46 Longfellow Ave.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, June 22, 1927, she was raised by her adoptive parents, Louis and Mary Tognalli.
Primarily a homemaker, she was an administrative assistant at Marland Mold and at the former Kaufman Brothers, now Kay Bee Toys. In the 1960’s she worked for the Clerk of Courts in Lee and in the 1970’s she was co-owner of the former Lee Take Out Shop.
Her adoptive parents were the owners of the Belden Tavern in East Lee where she acquired her love of cooking, the Big Band sound, and dancing. She was an avid golfer and a member of the Greenock Country Club in Lee for many years.
She and her husband, Vincent J.
Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Louis V. and Robert V.
