Arlene Marie Ardrey, 61, of Williamsport, died peacefully in her sleep, Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at her home.

Born February 12, 1956 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of Charles and Mary Lou (Mileto) Fredericks of Williamsport.

She was a 1974 graduate of Williamsport High School. Arlene started working at Mileto’s Sub Shop in Newberry in 1972 and became owner and operator of Mileto’s in 2014. She loved all her customers and always took the time to talk and socialize with everyone. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish. Arlene enjoyed sewing and playing bingo at Woodward Twp. Fire Hall and always made her daily trips to Dunkin Donuts. She loved taking care of her entire family and especially loved her grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her parents, are her husband of 42 years Glenn E. Ardrey whom she married May 31, 1975, two daughters Michele L. Snyder of Loyalsock and Kristi L. Marshall (Rock) of Loyalsock, six grandchildren Madison, Marley, Mackenzie, Carson, Brooke, and Devon, five siblings Kenneth Hunter of Williamsport, David Hunter of Williamsport, RaeAnn Pardoe (Brandon) of Williamsport, Cindi Marsh (Robert) of State College, and Char Fredericks of Williamsport, an aunt Catherine “Dolly” Rolley of Williamsport, an uncle David Mileto of Washington, PA , and many nieces, nephews and close friends and “family” that she loved so dearly from Mileto’s.

She was preceded in death by a son Michael James Ardrey in 1986, her grandmother and family matriarch Mary Mileto, and sister-in-law Kay Hunter.
