Arlene E. (Dudley) Curtis, 77, of Durham, wife of Richard A. Curtis, died on Saturday, November 17th at Middlesex Hospital. Born in Medford, MA, she was the daughter of the late Albert F. and Arlene S. (Paine) Jewell and was a resident of Durham for the past 44 years. Arlene owned and operated with her daughter Katherine the Subway sandwich shop on Washington St. in Middletown from 1980 to 2000.
