Arista “Rick” Smith, 68, Anderson, passed away November 10, 2009 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born August 24, 1941 in Dugger, Indiana, and resided in Anderson most of his life. Rick retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors.
He was a member of the UAW Local #662, loved hunting, fishing and working on CB radios. Rick loved auto racing. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Joyce Stern Smith; sons, Kreston Elizabeth Keller, Kyle Keller and Stacey Smith; three grandchildren, Kasey Keller, Kody Keller and Christopher Keller; four great grandchildren, Alexie, Hailey, Kaylee and Ian; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ola Marion & Jesse Comstock Smith and brother, Verl Ray Smith.
