Ardith Ann Emond, 81, passed away February 2, 2013 in Canon City, CO. She was born February 1, 1932 in Canon City to William and Alta S. (Osborne) Colbert. Ardith was united in marriage to Everett C. Emond; he preceded her in death. Together they owned and operated Emond Lumber for 54 years. Ardith is survived by her children, Sherry (Bud) May, Jerry (Nancy Jean) Emond, Nancy (Jerry) Flick, Dave Emond, and Tracy (Paulette) Emond; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and brother, Wayne Colbert. She is also survived by her little dog “Ginger”, who she loved very much. She was preceded in death by her daughter Jo Berry.
