Ardath Shetterly, 92, of Three Oaks, Michigan died Tuesday morning, February 4, 2014 at Millers Merry Manor in New Carlisle, Indiana.Ardath was born in Three Oaks on January 5, 1922, daughter of Orlo and Ethel (West) Gridley. She graduated from Three Oaks High School in 1939 and married Donald G. Shetterly on December 13, 1941.
Ardath was employed as a seamstress at Gerber Babywear in Three Oaks. She was an avid reader. Ardath loved her family, Sunday night dinners and getting together with family and friends. She was a member of the Three Oaks Church of Christ.Survivors include her children, Diane (Lonn) Kelley of New Carlisle; Luann (James) Eggar of Baroda, Michigan and Gary (Kathryn) Shetterly of Three Oaks, Michigan; grandchildren Steven Kelley, Scott Kelley, Shari Sheldon, and Ashley Shetterly; great grandchildren Courtney, Joel, Clayton, Julia, Emily and Luke.
She was preceded in death by her husband Don in 1996 and also by a sister and brother.
