Archie Monroe Freeman, age 79, of Concord, N.C., died Friday, August 7, 2009, at his home – 8672 Lower Rocky River Rd. in Concord, N.C. Freeman was self-employed and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist. He was the son of the late Brandon William Freeman and the late Helen (Joyner) Freeman. He is survived by his three daughters, Diana F. Deese of Monroe, Vickie F. Lisenby of China Grove, and Jane F. McLain of Raleigh; two sons, Archie M. Freeman, Jr. and Gary Freeman, both of Raleigh; sister, Helen Jones of Florida; brother-Brandon “Buddy” Freeman of Concord; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
