Arbella Unginia Ritter-Williams was the sixth of twelve children born to the late Jordan B. and Nora Ritter of Carthage, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Huey Lee Williams. Son Harold Williams, daughters Addie Bobbie Thomas and Vernell Marie Hopson.
Arbella was married to Huey Lee Williams, and through this union seven children were born. She was educated in the Moore County School System and for many years she worked as a Home Health Care Aide. She was a faithful member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Robbins NC for more than sixty years. She was a member of the Usher Board, Women’s Missionary Band, Church Treasurer, and for many years she served as Pastor’s Aide Chairman. She was a dedicated member and loved her church family. She loved cooking and fellowshipping; you could never leave her home without enjoying a good meal. Arbella was a great Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. She will never be forgotten.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories, son: Cedric Williams (Michelle), Asheboro, NC; daughters: JoAnne Ricks (the late Bishop J.R. Ricks, Sr.), Trinity, NC; Patricia Graham (Elsie), Robbins, NC; Connie Williams-Lee (Charles), Raleigh, NC; daughter-in-Law Faye Williams, Long Island, NY; 21 Grandchildren, 39 Great Grandchildren and 22 Great Great Grandchildren; Sisters: Mozella Ritter Baltimore, MD; Marjorie Brown, Bridgeport, CT; Frankie Peace, Durham, NC. A special niece, Jannis Caviness, Robbins, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
