Antonio “Tony” R. Torres, 78 a Hanover resident entered eternal rest Tuesday, May, 24 2016 at Fort Bayard Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
Antonio (Tony) was born January 17, 1938 in Hanover to Cecilio and Virginia (Nicolai) Torres. He was employed as a Switch Board Operator with Kennecott, now known as Freeport McMoran. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a very proud member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union. He was President for the Hanover Water Association. He loved to dance and listening to music.
He is survived by his loving wife Cindy Torres, his sons; Tony Jr., (Angela), Raymond (Rose) and Jimmy (Victoria) and his granddaughter Kaitlyn Rose Torres.
He is preceded in death by his parents Cecilio and Virginia (Nicolai) Torres.
Serving as pallbearers are Michael, Tim, Steven and Cesar Jimenez, Armando Vega and
Steven Rodriguez.
