Antoinette T. “Nettie” Tarola, 86, formerly of Bethlehem, died Friday, January 7, 2011, in Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown. She was the wife of the late Ralph J. Tarola, Sr., who died in 1997. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Angeline (Ponticelli) Spadaccia. Nettie worked as a waitress for many years at The Williams Family Restaurant in Palmer Twp. She was a member of Incarnation of Our Lord Parish and a member of the former Our Lady of Pompeii Church, both in Bethlehem. Survivors: she will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Rachel Schaffer and her husband Butch of Bethlehem; son Dr. Ralph J. Tarola and his wife Donna of Allentown; sister Theresa Wagner and her husband Harry; brothers Joseph Spadaccia and his wife Marge all of Bethlehem and John Spadaccia of Fountain Hill; grandchildren Angela Musike and her husband Joe of Bear, DE, Jenny Nolen and her husband Cody of Denver, CO, Gabe Tarola of Hoboken, NJ and great-grandchildren Nathan and Nicholas.
