Anthony T. “Tony” Costa, 73, passed away at home after a courageous battle with cancer on February 17, 2022. Tony was born in Fall River. He was a graduate of Bishop Stang High School and the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. Tony grew up in Fall River, and spent his summers in Westport, some of which were as a lifeguard at Horseneck Beach. The second half of his life was spent in Plymouth, Massachusetts, where he devoted his time to helping those recovering from addiction. Tony is survived by his nephew, Michael Coleman, of Westport, and predeceased by his brother, Raymond Costa of Fall River, and his sister, Josephine Coleman, of Westport.
