Anthony Scordo, age 88, of Milford and formerly of Norwalk, passed away at Milford Hospital on Saturday, February 19, 2011. He was born in Bridgeport to the late Giuseppe and Filomena Scordo. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Josephine (Riccio) Scordo and three beloved children, Annette (James) Lash of Milford, Joseph (Katrina) Scordo of Williamsburg, VA, and Marguerite (Robert) Hill, of Grayson, GA. He also leaves 8 loving grandchildren, James (Jane) Lash, Karen (Scott) Haverl, Jonathan (Liberty) Hill, Andrew (Erin) Hill, Emily (Ryan) Thompson, Anthony (Christina) Scordo, Trace Scordo and Max Scordo. He was predeceased by his grandson Michael Lash. Also surviving are 6 great grandchildren, Michael, Lauren and Emily Haverl, Katie and Ellie Lash, and Harrison Hill. He leaves behind a brother Carmine Scordo, a sister Mary Racano and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters, Margaret Agliotta, Josephine Brown and Sara Zeoli. Tony was a WW II veteran and retired as a data processing manager from Superior Drug Co. He was also a draftsman at the Hat Corp. of America. He loved his family and home more than anything else.
