Anthony S. Cucinotta of Burlington Twp., died Friday October 26, 2012 at the Samaritan Hospice inpatient unit in Mt. Holly at the age of 90. Mr. Cucinotta was born in Burlington and remained a lifelong resident. He retired from First Fidelity Bank in Burlington Twp. after many years of service. He was an avid lifelong fisherman on Long Beach Island, where he was known as the “King of Clamming.”

He also enjoyed hunting. He was an honorary member of the Beach Buggy Association, a member of the Happy Hookers Fishing Club and a retired special officer for the Burlington Twp. Police Dept. Anthony grew up on a farm and retained a lifelong passion for farming, often working for Conti’s Farm. He is survived by his wife Carol (nee McGuigan), his children and their spouses; Anthony J. (Joyce) Cucinotta of Beach Haven, Michael A. (Michele) Cucinotta of Manahawkin, Kathryn (Richard) Ciarlante of Burlington and his nephew Dominick.

He was Poppy to Lisa, Denise, Roseann, Michael, Jr., Jon-Michael, Jason, Matthew, Andrew and Lucas, his 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great nephew. He is also survived by his sister in law Jain McGuigan of Beaufort, SC best fishing buddies Raymond Sullivan and Edward Varga.
