Anthony R. Spadaccia, 84, of Fountain Hill, died Friday, June 15, 2007, in St. Luke’s Hospital in Fountain Hill. He was the husband of Angeline (Baca) who died in 1947 and Harriet (Beck) who died in 1999. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Vincent and Laura Spadaccia. Before retiring in 1982, he was employed for 25 years as a truck driver for Matlock Trucking. He was a member of Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus in Allentown and the North End Wanderers. He served as a Merchant Marine. Survivors: sons Anthony J. of Lauderdale Lakes, FL and Gary J. of Northampton; grandchildren Gary, Michelle and Trina; 4 great-grandchildren.
