Piazza, Anthony Robert. We lovingly remember Anthony, 89, of Scottsdale who passed away peacefully August 24, 2015. He was born in Chicago May 28, 1926, served in combat in the US Navy (LCS 91) in WWII, graduated from U of Illinois, was a builder in Chicago, and retired in Arizona. He was the husband of Leda (DeSantis) Piazza for 18 years. His daughter Fran Piazza Kahler (husband Bob) and Leda were by his side. He loved his grandchildren Zac (wife Val), Emily, and Hannah and was looking forward to his first great-grandchild and Hannah’s upcoming marriage (Sam). He was very close to his younger sister Rose Marie. His other sister Jackie and brother Sal have passed. His many nieces & nephews were a source of great joy. He endured the passing of Joan (Blasovich), his 1st wife, his son Bobby and his 2nd wife Marianne (Serpico). He was comforted by his Catholic faith and a proud member of the Organization of the Sons of Italy in America, Scottsdale Lodge 2335.
