Anthony Leon Devon Sims was born September 13, 1978, in Indianapolis, Indiana. His beloved mother Mary Elizabeth Brown Sims preceded him in death.
Anthony attended Indianapolis Public Schools #44, #56, and Emmerich Manual High School. Anthony accepted Christ into his life at an early age.

Anthony changed his life before he proposed to and married the love of his life, Renita Greer-Sims, on September 11, 2021. Anthony loved putting family first. He loved all the kids in his family and his neighborhood. At the time of his death, Anthony was the happiest he had been in a very long time.
Anthony had many talents. Anthony was a landscaper, carpenter, electrician, and all around “handyman”. Anthony was always willing to learn and turned his “hustles” into a lucrative sole proprietorship.

Anthony loved reading, listening to music, and watching movies. Anthony’s favorite pastime was playing Candy Crush. He made it to level 2022! Anthony loved fishing, bowling, and sledding.

Anthony was a hard-working man. He was always on the move, whether it was working, taking care of his dogs, or playing and chilling with his family. He was very caring, and you could never keep a frown around him because he could sense if someone needed some encouragement. He loved unconditionally, even when conditions made it hard. He was driven by his love for his family and their happiness.

Anthony departed his life on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at the age of 43 years. Anthony is reuniting with his mother, Mary Elizabeth Brown Sims, grandmother, Susie May Nichols, and a host of other loved relatives in Heaven.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving Wife, Renita Greer-Sims, Father, Larry Love Sr.; Sons- Anthony Sims, Daveion Sims, Daughter, Atajah Turner; Siblings- Renee Harris (Darryl), Larry Love Jr. (Carla), David Sims (Erin), and LaShanna Sims; Mother-In-Law- Gwendolyn Trice; Brother-In-Laws- Marcus Trice and Timothy Trice; and a host of nieces and nephews, family members, and friends.
