Anthony J. Bladecki, loving husband, father, and grandfather, age 85, of New Carlisle, IN, passed away peacefully at 4:10 pm Monday, April 2, 2007 at Hamilton Communities in New Carlisle, IN.

He was born on April 18, 1921 to the late Jacob and Eleanor (Brodzinski) Bladecki in LaPorte, IN, and was a lifelong New Carlisle resident. Along with his parents; one daughter, Catherine Jaronik; and one sister, Elizabeth Bartoszewicz also preceded him in death.

Mr. Bladecki worked at Studebaker and Bendix, and was a lifelong farmer.

On August 28, 1943, he married Anna J. Banul at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church in Michigan City, IN. She survives.

Along with his loving wife Anna, of 63 years, he is survived by three daughters, Eileen Esposito of New Carlisle, IN; Chris (husband Jeff) DeLater of New Carlisle, IN; Diane Bladecki of Princeton, NJ; one son, Richard (Laura) Bladecki, Sr. of New Carlisle, IN; a son-in-law, David Jaronik of Nevada, who was married to Catherine; 10 grandchildren, Julie (husband Greg) Kaniewski of South Bend, IN; Kim (husband James)
Leep of South Bend, IN; Shannon Jaronik of Chicago, IL; Kelly (husband Aaron) Walbrandt of St. Louis, MO; Jennifer DeLater of Indianapolis, IN; Ryan Jaronik of Boston, MA; Richard (wife Courtney) Bladecki, Jr. of LaPorte, IN; Brenda DeLater of South Bend, IN; Amy (husband Steve) Kazmierzak of New Carlisle, IN; Melissa (husband Jeff) Loop of South Bend, IN; eleven great grandchildren; and one sister, Josephine Szczypiorski of California.

Mr. Bladecki was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish in New Carlisle, IN, where he belonged to the Ushers Club at the church. Tony loved to farm; attend auction sales; polka dance; and spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
