Anthony “LOU” Gene Paolillo Jr. went to be with the Lord on March 30, 2012 at the age of 81 after a battle with Alzheimer’s. Lou was born on August 27, 1930 in Philadelphia the son of the late Anthony and Freda Paolillo. He was a longtime Burlington resident and later resided in Browns Mills, NJ. Lou served as Airman 2nd Class for the United States Air Force during the Korean War.

He then became an Ironworker for Local 68. The next 40 years followed with a successful career as a Car Salesman winning many achievement and top salesman awards. Lou loved being an Usher at Fountain of Life Church. He also enjoyed playing baseball, golf, swimming, dancing and was an avid sport’s enthusiast. Lou spent many a summer in Wildwood, NJ! Lou was an extraordinary husband, father and grandfather. He touched the lives of many people with his personality, generosity and love.

He was affectionately known as “the spokesperson” for the family. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 50 years, Joyce Paolillo (nee Francis); his daughter Donna (Paolillo) Churry and son-in-law Robert Churry; his son Louis Anthony Paolillo and daughter-in-law Antonella Paolillo; his son Michael Gene Paolillo; and his grandchildren, Jena Leigh Lukis, Joshua Paolillo, Alycia Paolillo, Brendan Paolillo; and his new grandbaby ‘on the way.
