DiFalco, Hon. Anthony G. Passed away on April 9, 2022, at the age of 83 in Miami, Florida, after a brief illness. Public servant, prominent and influential attorney; and loving and devoted husband and father. Born in New York City on July 14, 1938, to the late New York County Surrogate Judge. S. Samuel DiFalco and Emma G. DiFalco, Anthony attended St. Francis Xavier High School, graduated from Holy Cross College in 1960 and New York Law School in 1963. He served the State of New York from 1965-1976; as the Associate Counsel to President Pro Tem of the New York State Senate in 1965, the Associate Counsel to the Minority Leader of the New York State Senate from 1966-1968, and as a Member of the Assembly of the New York Legislature from 1968-1976. Anthony was the Managing Partner of DiFalco, Amhurst, Smithson, Tannenbaum & Duval, an international law firm with offices in New York City, London, England and Rome, Italy. Devoted to the advancement of Italian Americans, he was one of the principal founders of the Columbus Citizens Foundation, together with his late father, Judge S. Samuel DiFalco, and served as Member and former Chairman of the Board of Directors. Anthony was also greatly involved in charitable work, served on the Board of Directors for various causes; and received numerous awards for his service from institutions throughout his life, a few of which are Albert Einstein College of Medicine; Stuyvesant Chapter Cancer Care; National Jewish Hospital; Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States; Young Israel Synagogue of Manhattan; and the Italian American Students & Faculty of City University of New York. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; his sons, Anthony S. and Christophe L. DiFalco; his daughter, Cristina DiFalco Bertrand, his son-in-law EJ Bertrand, his daughter-in-law Federica Silen DiFalco, his sister, Elisa D. Zamora, his nephews, Adam and Matthew Zamora, and his brother-in-law Anthony Zamora. Service at St.
