Anthony C. “Tony” Devlin, 52, of Jacksonville, died Friday, May 6, 2016, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

He was born Nov. 6, 1963, in Las Vegas, NV, the son of Thomas Bertrand and Margaret F. Darush Devlin.

He is survived by his brother, Richard Devlin (companion Kathy Stone) and his sister, Sally “Sara” (Charles) Murphy, both of Jacksonville; five nieces and nephews, Amy Clayton (companion Lon) of Jacksonville, Cecilia Lowe (companion Justin Layne) of Chapin, and Alan (Eva) Devlin, Bruce (Mindy) Murphy, and Brian Devlin (companion Sarah Tribble), all of Jacksonville; eight great nieces and nephews, Josh and Cassie Lowe, Hayley, Tieler and Brandon Murphy, Chelsea Devlin, Karson Layne, and Serendity Hankins; and his half-sister, Toni Decker Bancheri, and her daughters, Gianna and Micheline Bancheri, all of Las Vega, NV. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Cecilia Jean Devlin.

Mr. Devlin had worked at Wendy’s, Hardee’s, County Market, the Nevada House of Hoses, and J.M.I. He also enjoyed helping Ron Milton in his shop. He enjoyed cars, guns, sailboats and drag racing on his motorcycle at Havana. Tony loved spending time with his family, especially all of his nieces and nephews.
