Anthony Allan Pomichter, 66, of West Haven passed away at the West Haven VA on July 6, 2011. Husband of Katie Pomichter. Born in New Haven, son of the late Anthony and Stella Slabaszewski Pomichter. Father of Jennifer Pomichter and her husband David Michnowicz of West Hartford and the late Janine Pomichter. Brother of Robert (Mary) Pomichter of PA, Michael (Barbara) Pomichter of North Haven, Patricia Kearney of Derby, Ted (Evelyn) Pomichter of Hamden and Raymond (Kathy) Pomichter of Wallingford. He served as a combat phototgrapher for the US Army in Vietnam. Following the war, Allan was a studio photographer then became a Teamster with Local 442, working for Preston Trucking for many years. He was a lifetime avid boater and a member of City Point Yacht Club where he was a past fleet captain.
