Mrs. Louise McCollum, 79, of Meridianville, went to be with the Lord on Monday.
She was born and raised in the Meridianville community and was a long-time member of Plainview Church of Christ. She was a former teacher, a proud homemaker, and she loved cross-stitching, crocheting, quilting, sewing, and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Albert McCollum; Her parents: Wade and Leona Preston; Her brothers, Richard and Charles Preston; Her sister, Evelyn Emerson; Her son-in-law, Ronald Bailey;
She is survived by her two daughters: Mary (Steve) Berry, and Bertha “Boots” Bailey; Her sister: Linda Edwards; Her grandchildren: Christina Sablan, Kimberly (Michael) Parton; Jesse (Brittany) Berry; Aaron Berry; Brandy (Michael) McCown; Great-grandchildren: Emily Shackelford, Aubrey Sablan, Noah Berry, Coleman & Barrett Parton, Rachel McCown and Brooklyn McNeese. She is also preceded in death by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
