Mrs. Annie Lee Green was born to the late Mattie Johnson and Wallace Myers on April 19, 1936, and departed this life on July 4, 2023, at The Methodist Oaks Residential Care Facility in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
Annie received her education through the Orangeburg County School system. Annie dedicated her life to serving Jehovah over 60 years ago and remained a faithful servant until her death. She is remembered as a great mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Green, Sr., son Leon Green, daughter Jessie Mae Sweatman, daughter Cherry Washington, two brothers Willie Johnson and Otto Johnson, one granddaughter Tanika, and one great-granddaughter Ari’yanna.
Those left to cherish fond memories are her sons; Lawrence (Mary) Green, John Green, and Jeremiah Green of Eutawville, SC; one sister, Jessie Lee Jamison of Eutawville, SC: one brother, James L. Johnson of Eutawville, SC; 10 grandchildren, Sharon, Gregory (LaShawnda), Corwin (Jennifer), Reginald, Tiffany (Andree’), Lamont (Natecia), Lashunda, Johnathan, Shaniya, and Titeanna; niece, Deborah (Marvin) Blanchard of Eutawville, SC; special adopted daughter, Lula White, and special friend, Betty Jamison; 15 great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, Polly Green and Eula Washington; a host of additional nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and spiritual brothers and sisters.
