Annie Adell was called home to the Lord after a brief illness at Alamance Health Care Center where she resided.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Luzenia Kimrey Herring; father, Lacy Baylam Herring; sisters, Elizabeth Martindale, Nellie Smith and Mattie Smith; and three brothers-in-law, Elmer Martindale, Bud Smith and Darrell Mansfield.
The surviving family members are her sister, Bonnie Mansfield; brother-in-law, Earl Smith; and ten nieces and nephews, whom lovingly referred to her as “Aunt Adell”. She often said to them, “I used to keep you when you were little while your parents worked.” Also surviving are numerous great nieces and great nephews.
Adell has been a member of the Graham Friends Church all her life.
