Anne G. Oatman, 88, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, January 12. She was born February 19, 1918 in South Bend, Indiana to the late John and Rose (Madaras) Suth. She married Leland E. Oatman, September 5, 1935 who preceded her in death March 7, 1992. She was also preceded in death by three sisters and one brother. She was a lifetime resident of South Bend and Mishawaka and retired from American National Bank in 1979.
Survivors include a daughter Sharon L. (Simon) Mayer, South Bend, Indiana and a son Michael J. (Linda) Oatman, Gore, Virginia. She has 4 grandchildren; Angela (Paul) Churches, Niles, Michigan, Michael J. (Amy) Oatman Jr., Gore, Virginia, Eric (LeAnne) Rakowski, Niles, Michigan, and John (Kate) Oatman, Mishawaka, Indiana; and four great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Andrew, Allison, and Alex.
Anne is also survived by three sisters; Mary Baraso, Irene Molnar, and Barbara Wesolowski. Annie has been a fun-loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
