On Monday, April 6, 2020, Anne “Nancy” (Barndt) Fisher, devoted wife and mother, passed away at the age of 90. Nancy was born on July 8, 1929 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Frank and Anna Barndt. On April 24, 1947, Nancy married Stanley Fisher of Audubon, New Jersey. They were married for 64 years. Nancy was known for her willingness to help others. After retiring from the banking industry, Nancy served with Meals on Wheels in Macungie, PA and volunteered at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA, with Stan by her side. Nancy loved bird watching, knitting, and music. Her six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren will remember Nancy’s uncanny ability to break into song at any moment, on any topic. And her ‘greats’ and ‘grands’ will forever treasure knitted treats made just for them by their loving nana. Her special fashion sense, especially when it came to hats, delighted her friends and family. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Stanley, and her son Bill. She is survived by son David (Kathy) Fisher, daughter Holly (Don) Moulder, and son Steven (LuAnn) Fisher.
