Obituary of Anne E. Duvally

Age 55, of Saint Paul

Anne Elizabeth Crum Duvally passed away on July 18th, 2016 in the arms of her husband and love of her life, Nick. Born in St Paul on Feb. 26, 1961, Anne attended Totino Grace (class of 1979) and UMD (1984). She lived in Los Angeles for many years before returning to St Paul in 2015. Anne was an avid hiker, gardener and passionate about the outdoors. She relished having the sun on her face and the wind in her hair. Her apartment was right on the ocean and she spent hours watching the dolphins, crashing waves, and gorgeous sunsets. Anne was a potter, photographer, and loved home DIY projects. An absolute favorite was decorating for her #1 holiday, Halloween. She had an adventuresome palate and was an exceptional cook, often saying “food is love”. Big-hearted and compassionate, Anne supported Habitat for Humanity as it blended her interest in helping others, being outdoors and home projects. Preceded in death by sister, Mary Therese. Survived by husband, Nick Duvally; mother, Mary Asher; father, Dalton (Barb) Crum; sisters, Marsha (Pam) Claiborne and Beth (Jim) Alexander; numerous nieces, nephews and many close friends.
