Anne C. (Nigro) Raefski
Anne was born and raised in Kearny. She has lived in North Arlington since 1953.
She owned and operated Nigro’s Deli on the corner of Stewart Avenue and Elm Street in Kearny for 10 years. She retired in 1987. She was a member of Lyndhurst Lodge # 1505 B.P.O.E. and Kearny Lodge Fraternal Order of Eagles # 2214.
She was predeceased by her sons James and John Raefski.
She is survived by her husband Gerald Haley and her four sons Joseph (Nancy), Frank (Mildred), Richard and Michael Raefski. She was the sister of Emil Nigro (Lorraine). She leaves behind 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was the sister-in-law of Ida Nigro.
