Annabell V. Schearer, age 88 of Midland died Thursday morning May 9, 2013 at K & K Adult Quality Care Home. The daughter of the late Lewis and Doris (Beach) Rogers was born on May 31, 1924 in Freeland where she was raised and educated. On August 30, 1942 she married Weldon E. Schearer in Reno, NV and he predeceased her in 1985.

Annabell worked for American Cleaners in her early years and later as a baker for the Midland High School cafeteria. She also wintered in Apache Junction, Arizona for many years. She started a ladies card club with a group of friends that met for many years and was a former member of the Midland Rebekah Lodge #378. She was a warm, generous and caring person that will be missed by many. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, cooking and was known for her apple pies and apple sauce that she made from scratch from apples off her own tree and shared with everyone.

Annabell is survived by her daughter Sheila Anderson of Sanford and her grandchildren; Cherie Anderson, Todd Anderson, Tania Schade and great grandchildren; Tarra Hulse, Travis Hulse, Paige Anderson, Seth Anderson, Noah Anderson, Lauren Schade, Alyssa Schade, Logan Schade and one great great grandson Damien Huff. She is also survived by her brothers Arthur and Jack Rogers and sisters Lottie Meese and Darlene Ross. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a son Gary Schearer, great grandson Robbie Hulse; brothers, Richard “Dick”, Lewis “Joe”, Sherman, Charles; sisters, Dorothy Billingsley & Leona Chubb.
