Anna Ruth Sellers, 89, of Anderson, passed away on June 23, 2015, at Bethany Pointe Health Campus Anderson. Born in a rural Montgomery County Ind. farmhouse, she lived for 70 years in Anderson. Anna Ruth graduated from Russelville High School, and she moved to work in Indianapolis in 1943. A skilled office manager, bookkeeper, and secretary, she retired from Anderson Community Schools. Anna Ruth was a dedicated Democrat precinct committeewoman, and she was proud to be part of a very effective team that got out the vote in Ward 2. Anna Ruth is survived by her son, Stephen of Indianapolis, and his partner, Mary Beth Goldsmith.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, William Crawford Sellers, Jr., mother, Edith, father, Robert, and her brother, Robert, Jr.
