Anna Mary Vargo, 98, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 3:45 p.m., Friday, September 23, 2005, in St. Josephs Regional Medical Center. Anna Mary was born on June 8, 1907 in South Bend, to Stanislaus and Mary Reiter. She had worked as a bookkeeper for South Bend Lathe, and also had a Foster Home, taking care of fifteen to twenty children over the years. On April 16, 1931, in South Bend, as Anna Mary Reiter, she married Louis G. Vargo, who preceded her in death on December 30, 1995. Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Ann (Brendan) Vargo Fagan of Westlake, OH, and three grandchildren, Christopher (Pam) Bradish of Redlands, CA, Michael Bradish of Newport, KY, and Mary Beth Bradish of Brea, CA.
