Anna Marie (Mastrogiovanni) Malavolta, age 92, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, January 18, 2020, with family by her side. She is survived by her two sons, George and Steve; three grandchildren, Tracy Ann Haas, Bradley Austin Malavolta and Laney Ann Malavolta; four grandchildren, Jamie, Ty, Julia and Lilly, and a large family of friends.
Born May 22, 1927, in Fort Lee, New Jersey to Leonard and Concetta Mastrogiovanni, Anna was the youngest of eight children. She remained in New Jersey with her husband and raised their two sons in the small town of Bergenfield.
All her life Anna was a nurturing and giving woman who always prioritized others over herself. She dedicated her life to her family and her household, and memories of her generosity and supportive, caring spirit will remain with all who knew her.
Anna passed days before what would have been her 75th wedding anniversary and now can celebrate that landmark in Heaven with her beloved husband, Guido George Malavolta.
The family would like to extend their deep gratitude to the many friends and caregivers over the years who have provided their support.
