Mrs. Carney was born in Waterbury on May 8, 1938, a daughter of the late Thomas and Olga (Enamit) McCormack. She was retired from Shorewood Packaging where she had worked as a quality control inspector for many years. Anna was a sports enthusiast and particularly fond of UCONN Huskies basketball.
