Anna Mae Rice, age 92, of Marion, Indiana, died October 12, 2015, at home surrounded by her family.

Anna was born May 20, 1923 to the late Brown and Fannie (Wilson) Minter in Ricetown, Kentucky. She married Jimmie Rice on June 28, 1946.

He survives. Anna attended Grace Community Church. She was also a member of the Arbor Trace Ladies Golf Club and the Elks Ladies League. Anna was the cafeteria supervisor for Allen Elementary School until she retired in 1986. Anna loved to play golf. She played for 38 years. She had 4 hole-in-ones; three were at Arbor Trace and one was in Florida. She also enjoyed bowling, crocheting, quilting, playing cards, and Yahtzee. Anna also loved to cook. She always wanted to make sure you ate. In addition to her husband, Jimmie, Anna is also survived by three daughters; Donna Enyeart, Marion, Indiana, Nancy (John) Chin, Marion, Indiana, and Patsy (Steve) Smithley, Marion, Indiana; sister; Lucy Rose DeBord, Booneville, Kentucky; brother; Tommie (Geraldine) Minter, Booneville, Kentucky; six grandchildren; Jennifer (Scott) DeBoy, Lisa (Kevin) Rittenhouse, Aaron Enyeart, Kyle (Andi) Chin, Todd (Diana Cole) Chin, and Parker (Careena) Smithley; 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Anna was preceded in death by her son, Gary Paul Rice, son-in-law, Bobby Enyeart, sisters Ella Faye Gibson and Virginia Ruth Blackburn, and brother John Wilson Minter.
