Anna M. Molnar, 91, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away at 9:32 p.m., Friday, December 6, 2013 in Hamilton Communities. Anna was born on January 25, 1922 in South Bend to Renee and Julia (Van De Walle) DeCook and was a lifelong resident. She had been employed with the former Kosegi Leather Manufacturing in South Bend as a supervisor of the home sewers. On January 25, 1941 in South Bend, she married Stephen Joseph Molnar who preceded her in death on April 17, 1993. Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Arlene Cwidak and Agnes Bjoraas; three brothers, August, Albert, and Andrew DeCook; and one daughter-in-law, Sandra Taylor Molnar. Survivors include her daughter, Michele (Jim Strope) Sopczynski of South Bend, Indiana; two sons, Robert Molnar and James (Kathy Wabinga) Molnar both of South Bend, Indiana; four grandchildren, James K. (Judy) Molnar, Angela (Ryan) Champ, Anthony Sopczynski, and James S. Molnar; two great-granddaughters, Alexa and Aubrey Champ; three sisters, Alice Dhaeze , Audrey (Ron) Janowczak, and Antoinette Youts all of South Bend, Indiana; and one sister-in-law, Sophie DeCook of South Bend, Indiana.
