Anna Lucille Cox 93, of Moberly, went to be with her Lord, Thursday February 11, 2021.  She was born August 26, 1927 to William S. and Ruby Lee (Haney) Guffey in Ardmore, MO.

Lucille married Damon L. Cox on June 28, 1947 in Atlanta, MO. She was a loving mother to Gary W. Cox, Sharon G. Thomas, Barbara Anne Holder and her husband Wayne and  Brenda G. Ditch and her husband Dan, grandmother to Lucy (Reay) Gilmour, Robert Ham, Andy (Karissa) Ham, Jacob (Amber) Ham, Jeremiah (Ashley) Penrod, Micah (Philip) Gibson, Amanda (Kyle) Kozak, Jaime (Chase) Galloway, Alan Holder (fiancé Katie) & Daniel (Erin) Holder. Great-grandmother to 20 and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a son Gary Cox; siblings Mary Reynolds, Gene  Guffey, Claude Lee Guffey and Russell Bruno, Grace  Pulis, Pat Guffey, Delbert Huffed, Ruth Shepherd & Arlene White. Surviving siblings, Doretta Bruno, David Guffey, Ruth Guffey and Joyce Guffey.

She was very active at Jefferson Ave United Methodist Church where she’s been a member all her adult life. She was a loving homemaker to all who came through her door. She was the epitome of a hospitable woman, whom had a heart for gardening especially flowers, roses and tomatoes. Above all, Lucille was a God-fearing prayer warrior whom can be attributed to hope, blessings and many miracles of family and friends far and wide.
